How exciting I just won an auction on Ebay, really pleased to be getting a Buddy TekWing for a reasonable price too.
Cant wait now to get testing it, what have I done?
its not in Techie black
even though its called a tekwing.
Looks like I'll be back to square one (again).

Opens up the way for twin tanks, which means I can take advantage of the Trox course I went on a few weeks back.
Oh no debt city here I come next year, honest dear!

Well done Matt, it must be good if its not black.

You are subconsciously being drawn into my way of thinking,
Spooky or what.

<font color='#000F22'>I'm guessing it's the same as digger's look at the photos from the tynemouth trip to see the day glow qualities underwater:D

I was bidding for the AGA mask but the price has gone well over for a 2nd hand mask.  I'm sure most of the people bidding on E-bay don't know the new prices of what they're bidding for.  Have you seen the prices Beaver masks go for.  I'll just have to buy a new one instead.

Doug

I have to agree on that, everything i bid for goes higher than i know i can get a new one for at a dive show, crazy stuff.

er...mate, you haven't "won" diddley - you've just bought something sight-unseen, caveat emptor!

Ebay's a great place to sell your crap - buy with caution however!

And as if to prove a point, I collected a car I'd "won" on Ebay yesterday - from Liverpool!!!

Totally agree, thats why I made sure it was within driving distance before I handed over the readies, which I did on Friday night, its in tip-top condition. Being a Buddy it also comes with a warranty, sort of, the factory are know to be sympathetic even if you arent the first owner. Anyway dived it on Sunday and am well pleased with its lift capacity with a single, feels nicely balanced in water but does tip forward a bit on the surface, if you're not careful.
Now lets start looking for some 7/10 twin 300bar jobbies, make a nice Christmas present that would, just what any non-diving wife would like, wonder what the wife will get me though.

Cheers all

Cool - it's great when it works out OK, isn't it?

Got my car running - £400 of wreck is now worth 5 times that!

Happy bunny.

Fancy some twins myself - seem to have got the ebay bug worse than you!

hi ya guys!! just like to say that i agree about the prices getting hiked up on e-bay i ve found that most of the time people get so into there bidding and determined to win they dont see that they,ve past the price they can get it new (lol)but dont get me wrong ive bought a few nice things off e-bay and there is some nice e-bayers that are a pleasure to deal with
