London Diving Chamber is now approved by the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA) to run the internationally recognised diver medic course for offshore diving professionals.

The Diver Medic Technician (DMT) course is run over 2 weeks with a 10 day contact time. Although open to any divers with a medical interest, IMCA certification will only be issued on successful completion to those holding a relevant offshore qualification for the diving industry (e.g. minimum HSE Part 1 or equivalent, LST or Offshore Supervisor).

The course covers a wide range of medical skills such as diving medicine, dangerous marine creatures, clinical skills, hygiene, and advanced first Aid.

It is a general requirement for offshore personnel to hold a HSE First Aid at work certificate. This certificate along with the Diver Medic Technician certificate will be issued at the end of the course along with AED and Oxygen Administration certificates. These qualifications can also be run as a separate qualification if required (see relevant course descriptions for further information).

Special offer on the course running from 20th June to 1st July £700 (usually £750).
