For weight they're about the same buoyancy wise in my experience. The turtle is a larger fin pocket and the blade is slightly different, but I wouldn't even try and get into a jetfin with those boots.

As for spring fins, I'm sure there was a thread on here recently about what size springs with turtles, that might help, but in reality trying them out would be my suggestion, as some people seem to like having fins that are tight as you like or loose as a prom queen in the back of a limo, and getting your gear on and giving them a go is the best way of finding out.

No no no. What you want is turtles. Every time. They are just a far superior fin for large feet. I am a size 10 and they are the pods, if I had rock boots on etc I wouldn't go near even the biggest NDiver/Beaver jets, I had those before and they were fine. Until I tried the Turtles, and they rocked my world. Honestly, a far superior fin. I know, I would have reccomended the cheapo ones up until a few weeks ago, but now I've seen the light and honestly there's only one thing for it. If you advertise there's a few sets kicking around secondhand, though I can't fathom why.
