Jobs at Porthkerris Divers
Hi,
as you know I've been running the annual YD to Porthkerris for some years now and I know the team down there pretty well.
I've been contacted by them to let me know that one of their staff is moving on so they have a couple of openings for staff - I've checked with the mods and they've ok'd me posting the message below:
The dive season at Porthkerris, Cornwall has started and we are now looking for new staff members to join our friendly, busy team for the summer season. We will be requiring a qualified Instructor and possibly someone who can skipper a dive boat too. The job involves all aspects of the diving industry (and more) and so you need to be prepared to get stuck in to all parts of the job.
We are also looking for keen, enthusiastic divers wishing to further their knowledge in the dive Industry and complete their Divemasters course this year. At Porthkerris we prefer to train our Divemasters using the Internship method. This gives you genuine day-to-day experience of assisting in training real students and guiding real divers.
