He seemed a nice guy when I had a chat with him a couple of years ago at a dive show.

Just shows that it can happen to anyone, no matter how experienced
Another WTF incident report.

My condolences to family and friends, a sad and scary day.

<font color='#0000FF'>He will be very sadly missed, my thoughts are with Gabby and his 2 kids.
John was a great guy and his enthusiasm towards diving rubbed off on whoever he came into contact with.
Rest in Peace John.

<font color='#0000FF'>My thoughts go out to his family and freinds, truly a great loss to them and to the sport he obviously loved.

<font color='#000F22'>Jesus Christ ...

I really don't know what to say ...

Paul H and I were in the Phillipines just over a year ago with him, having a laugh by the bar and Paul did a course with him too.

A truly nice guy with no side on him, no attitude and a great deal of ability and experience.

I'm gutted and for once completely lost for words.

Rest easy John...
