Just a quick addition to the stuuf above; what a great weekend. Meeting up with a few of the old faces and a new face (Ian) was great fun. And the lakes, ah, beautiful!
One thing I did learn - don't expect to put on a new set of twins and stage cylinder and expect an easy learning curve!!! the first couple of dives were hard work and I felt like a total newbie with some shocking bouyancy control compounded by some frantic searching for dump valves etc on the new kit. Got it mostly sorted for the final two dives however and most enjoyable they were too.
Actually another thing I learned was that it's difficult too catch a sprightly young pup in full flight - especially if you're wearing a Dry suit - not to be recommended.
But all in all an excellent W/E.
