<font color='#810541'>That is one of the instructors on Villi Varu he is giving us the dive briefing for the night dive. The sunset was amazing that day! This is another pic of a lionfish, I posted one similar before, but it is actually a different pic, though like the other I had to make it really small.

Is the eye of a sleeping porcupine fish. This one was so big, the size of my torso (well I guess you don't know how big that is...ok the fish was as big as.... I am holding my hands out now.... as big as a big thing!) anyway, this is how close I got with my camera, cos the thing was asleep. Quite cruel really, but it I did wake it a bit and it just didn't seem to mind, never swam away despite everyone shining torches right in it's face, poor thing.
Well i was snorkelling in Kaikora today.
had to work and missed the dive boat. darn it
but finally split around 12pm and thought i would take a punt on Kaikora.
it was as flat as a mill pond and at least 20 mtr vis ( Which is some of the best ive managed
in a few seasons.
But ask me the same question after chrissy as im off to North Island for 2 weeks of diving drinkin fishin etc
