A case of 'man bites dog'??

Shark dies after meeting naked comedian
By David Sapsted

It was a frightening experience when a naked comedian jumped into a shark tank. So frightening that the shark died.

Now Guy Venables, who disrobed and leapt into the tank at Brighton Sea Life Centre as a publicity stunt a fortnight ago, faces prosecution by the aquarium.

The 12-year-old smooth hound shark - one of the tiddlers of the shark world at barely 3ft long - died suddenly two days after Mr Venables, 35, took his dip to publicise his show at a local nightclub. Biologists are now conducting an autopsy.

Lisa Handscomb, marketing co-ordinator at the centre, said: "This variety of shark is susceptible to stress. We are very concerned he died as a result of the shock of seeing Mr Venables jumping into the tank. The shark is being examined by our biological services team and if it is found that he died from stress, we will prosecute Mr Venables for criminal damage."

Earlier this week the comedian, who lives in Hove, visited the centre to apologise. Angry staff made him clean out one of the viewing tunnels.

This has even made the press out here in Saudi (Arab News 14th June).

I can't beleive that you lot out there haven't come up with headlines for this.  Something along the lines of

"Going fishing with a tiddler"

or

"Shark killed by exposure"

Come on you must be able to do better than my meagre attempts.........
