Yeah who'd have thought a fully tested, unbreakable rebreather with super safe electronics monitoring wouldnt have been available for 600 quid in just a few months?

It doesn't look as if the Apocalypse is going to happen in 2012 then - another 10k hours of manned testing required for the actuator wire problem.
