Nipples Wanted

No, not what you thought, but i'm in desperate need of the older
CEJN type drysuit nipples as fitted to Apeks valves.

The ones like this.

If anybody has any lying around that they are never going to use
again i'd be very grateful and show that by making a donation to
the RNLI.

Well I was after the CEJN type, but I reckon they'll do nicely :teeth:
I'll have a look tonight Terry - I may have one or two kicking around...

Cheers Neil, the TerryH home for wayward CEJN nipples thanks you :teeth:
Yeah I know, but they are £4.50 + p&p each and I need about 10+ at least.

The club drysuits have a mix of the two types, but most of the inflators
are the CEJN type. Only takes one student to try and put the CEJN hose
on the schrader fitting to bugger up the hose.

With a lot of these being replaced so that LP/drysuit hoses are all the
same, I thought there would be a fair few knocking about in diveland
and if I could get some that would save the club a few £££'s
I might have one or two spare as I had to change mine a little while back. I'll have a look but I may have binned them.
PM me your address and if they show up I'll get them sent off ;)

If you get no luck, try talking to one of the drysuit manufacturers who might be able to do you a bulk deal. Seaskin allow their customers to swap the apeks nipple to a si-tech one so may have a few spares.

are they easy to take out ans swap? I'd swap the one from my old dry suit for one that is the same as my LP BCD inflate nipple. I was the only one in the club with the old type valve when I used that suit - so on the trip my hose failed there was no one to borrow a hose off.

Yes they are easy to swap, but these are club regs that all have the old Drysuits hose fitted.
Leaving the new fitting or changing old to new would mean buying about 15 new hoses +
about 10 new nipples. That would be around £400 -
