Passed the OW exam on Thursday ( 46 out of 50 )

Completed Open Water Dives 1 & 2 today over at Gildenburgh

Looks like practicing mask clearing in the bath paid off :)

Had a really good time, anyone else at Gildenburgh today ?

Congratulations Ancl,

Good effort on the OW exam, you were obviously paying attention and revising.

Only 2 more dives to go and then no excuses for not hooking up with some of the others on the board to start getting more experience.

Should be quite a few around your neck of the woods.

Cheers

I've put my name down for the next Advanced Open Water course ( date to be confirmed. )

Anyone local to me then ? I'm near Rushden, Northants ?

Just keeping practicing the mask flooding / clearing till it's second nature !  Considering I only learnt to swim about a year ago I think I'm doing well.

Kit wise, I think I'm going to look at Apex TX or ATX regulators, Sunito 1000 BCD to start with, used the TX-50 reg at the weekend, the shop has a ATX-50 used for training I'm going to try in the pool tomorrow night to compare.
