I've just been and got Paul Naylors new book 'GREAT BRITISH MARINE ANIMALS'. What a blinding book, The pictures and descriptions are so good that i nearly don't need to go diving anymore.. Or any less either.
I've just got got back from Firestone and with pictures from Naylors new book etched into my memory, i'm sure i saw even more today than usual. I even saw a doto fragilis and a couple of greater pipefish even though the viz was down to 3/4 metres, worse on the cables because of following a couple of herberts power finning back in (throw those soppy grey jetfins in the bin and get some proper ones). The water temperature has gone up a degree this weekend though, roll on summer.
