Hi everyone,

Over the summer I received my new go pro dive housing and have got some nice video of a local dive site (the A-frames at Loch Long is our standard training site).
I am attempting to use after effects for post processing however the photo filter I apply lasts for the entire film. Mainly I apply a magenta photo filter at 60% however nearer the surface I would prefer it to be less than this. Is there a way to apply different photo filters at different times in After effects CS5?

Cheers

Jamie

Cut the whole sequence down to smaller clips, apply effects to each one individually.... this has the added bonus of giving you the opportunity of reducing the video from a 40 minute epic to a 5 minute watchable piece (tip: choose one normal length piece of music as a backing track, use that as your limit on the end edit, individual clips,in general keep them to between 3-7 seconds long)
