Anyone succeeded in running proplanner under Vista O/S?

I get a dialog saying 16 bit sub system doesn't support fullscreen mode. Tried going into apps properties & setting to run as a window rather than fullscreen, but doesn't help.

Seems Vista detects app has option of fullscreen mode & rejects it.

Not a biggy, don't actually use ProPlanner much these days...

same problem... only solution i can think of but haven't tried it yet is to install ms virtual machine then install an old o/s (win98 or 2k or something) as a virtual machine and run proplanner from there, like i said i haven't tried this yet (i also dont use proplanner much anymore) but it should work, maybe, i think, possibly

Right click the proplanner .exe file whatever/wherever it is from win explorer
-Properties
-Compatability

Choose Compatability mode options to suit...

been playing around with this for half an hour or so, compatability dosn't seems to work (for me at least) as it's dos - best soloution found is to download a small program called dosbox (www.dosbox.sourceforge.net/) and mount/run proplanner from there.... no idea if running it in an emulator will have any effect on it but from the profiles i tried it *seems* ok

Running MS Vitual PC works fine with Proplanner....although it is a PITA having to install over a gig of OS to run such a small program!
