Edit - we most ofthe Students in the South (willing to go to Stoney at least) and all/most of the Demonstrators in the North - Typical!!!

For me, a weekend (Refresher) would be best, either 1 or 2 days...
If there are enough "shandy drinkers", Wraysbury is good for resue courses (if you can find somebody in there, you can find them pretty much anywhere!)

I would also be interested in something, although I don't know where I fit.  Have done all my training with BSAC, First Aid for Divers, O2 and Practical Rescue Management etc, but it was a while ago, so I could start again or pick some things up on a refresher.  Only available weekends though.

I'm seriously thinking about the PADI Rescue Course but would also really like to attend. I'm afraid weekends only for myself, Wraysbury would be ideal, but anywhere is ok with.

All together now "THERE'S ONLY ONE WASTWATER!!!!" And it's free (as are all the lakes apart from Hawes water and Thirlemere)!

At the moment I can't do 24th April - 3rd May. and I dont finish my AOW until then either.

I'm BSAC OWI and have done PRM and search and recovery courses, so I can help with demos etc. as well.  I'm another weekend person and strongly in favour of Wastwater, because the food in the pub is fantastic if for no other reason.

Just weekends for me please.  Can do either North or South... draw the line at Scotland though - not sure all my jabs are up to date

am quite happy to be a body in whichever weekend I'm not having a refresher (if needed)

W'end only for us, Matt.  Could Stoney, Dosthill, Horsea, Wraysbury etc easy enough with daily travel, but if it were oop north the lakes would be best as I could stay with ma 'n' pa!  It would make it less likely for us to be there though as cat-sitting comes into the equation!

I'm based in the Midlands so could potentially do either north or south though judging by the spread of instructors / students, it might be wiser to opt for somewhere more central.
The other option as Chardy has already suggested is to run seperate courses in both the north and south.  This might help with logistics and make the groups more managable for the instructors / DM's.

Dosthill has been suggested, and whilst its a nice small site for this sort of thing,  a rescue course is better done on the back shelf, which is a fair swim.

Can do weekends or midweek if I give plenty of notice.

Mid week depending on shifts, if I get a couple of weeks notice I can arrange it, no weekends, I go diving, work and spend time with the family, I won't instruct on them.

Has to be North for me, Capernwray is ok, others too far just to teach.
