Hi All,

The Editor of Tec/Rec diving '990 Magazine', Ron Mahoney, is making a presentation at my local dive centre (SubAqua-1) on Tuesday, 29th April at 7.00pm-ish. His topic will be expansive and cover all aspects of Technical (and some recreational) Diving - his preso's usually last for about an hour, so will be value for money. There will be a full Q&A session afterwards too.

YD members have been given a bit of a scoop on this, as all the other places have been sold to members of the SubAqua-1 centre. YD places are limited (20 places already sold) to 10 or 12 max. Admission is a fiver (£5) and paid directly to the centre on entry, which gets you a chippy tea and you're also welcome to BYO (bring your own) beer or choice of sherry to drink during the course of the evening. I've toured the facilities at SubAqua-1 and they are impressive: as training/seminar/preso facilities go, they are  roomy and professional.

SubAqua-1 is easy to find: Junction 19 off the M62, head towards Middleton. In fact, here's their URL so you can get their map:

Please either post here or phone the shop's owner, Andy (see above URL for contact numbers), directly if you're going to attend so that he  can get a clear idea of numbers.

Cheers,
