Hi all, I'm trying to send my friend some pics I took whilst diving in Tenerife lately and I just can't get them to attach.

Where am I going wrong,

Im trying to send around 6.5mb of pics using my hotmail/live account thingy.

I've tried compressing them into a zip file but then it wont attach with some kind of timed out message or it just keeps saving them to drafts??

Please help and thanks in advance

Dave.

I don't think win7 is the problem here.

If you are timing out it may be the case that it is taking too long to upload the files. How fast is your internet connection?

Hotmail also has a maximum attachment size but I don't think that is an issue here

Thats too big a size to send sensibly via email (lots of servers will reject files smaller than that). Zip wont help a lot, JPGs are already compressed.

As said upload to flickr or somewhere or if you insist on sending via email, send several mails each with 1 maybe 2 attachments.
