I have 15-20kgs in a keg of 797 sofnalime with an exp date of Jun 2010 not going to able to use it.

would anyone be interested for £20?

its in Cirencester can be in cheltenham day time or Coventry this weekend only

If only I was closer.

I really don't believe chemicals have 'expiry dates'.

They really, really do. Ever had glue go solid in the tube?

Generally the more reactive a chemical is, the shorter it's usable life. Clearly they don't work one day and stop the next but decay over a period of time. The expiry date is just an arbitory point at which you could reasonably expect the stuff to do what it's supposed to do. This is also affected by storge conditions (heat, cold, exposure to air / other gases, moisture) etc etc.
