Hi all,

Any advice/experience on using the Sony T100 and Sony U/W housing?

I'm sure that's the one Mark Ellyatt uses currently, he's happy with it, some of his photo's form it go into the dive mags so it can't be that bad.

I have just started using one. It performs well with regards to using the camera's functions and keeping the camera dry, plus it is about the smallest housing around, so it slips into a BC pocket easily.

Downside I have found it that to get decent piccies, you need an external strobe - thus turning it into a bulky unit.

Mike,

Nope, Grand Cayman, BWI. The best results were under 10m on a sunny day. At 30m+ the results were very iffy - a kind of had to be their photo! See how you get on, but I'm now trying to hunt down a suitable strobe. From the research I've done the main issue with the generic strobes is cancelling the Sony's pre-flash to trigger the main strobe, most can cancel up to 5, my T100 fires off 6!

Good luck.
