I´m a lot in to reading and I´m looking for some good books that includes diving in any way (novels, not for education). Do you have any suggestions? I have Neutral bouyancy by Tim Ecott all ready.
hey. i'm currently reading The Last Dive by Bernie Chowdhury. it's definitely not the best-written book in the world, but the diving info is very interesting, and it's definitely worth a read as a warning against carelessness.
i've just read the author's description of when he messed up on a dive and surfaced, missing two hours of deco, and nearly died from DCS. makes you think.
It's not strictly speaking about scuba diving, but very very good nevertheless - 'Ship of Gold in the Deep Blue Sea' by Gary Kinder. All about an operation to salvage tons of gold from a wreck two miles down. It's got history, lots of watery stuff & a fair bit of suspense to boot.
