Hi Folks.
In the Suunto Computer one can set the sample rate to 10, 20, 30, 60 seconds. From the manual: change the sample rate for profile records/logbook from the default 20 second interval to 10, 30 or 60 seconds.
Does anybody have any experience if one has advantages over the other? I understand the shorter the sample rate the more memory is used so the less dives it records. But are there advantages or disadvantages to go for 10 or 30 or?
I do use Subsurface to download my dives (like it the best of all applications on the market). Would I get a better useable profile at 10 or 30 or more seconds? If you need to go in to the pot, would the hyperbaric doctor see more in one or the other?
Love to hear what you think about this, as I have not been able to find much info anywhere.
Thanks.
