Decided to book a late deal and go to Tenerife:shades:  for a week on 15th Jan (my birthday)
We are leaving the remaining sprogs at home with in-laws :devil:and wify & I are off for a short romantic break (joke), so I will only be able to do a couple of days diving, otherwise `er indoors will get the `ump.
Gives me an idea, upset her at the start and then go diving for the rest of the week to get away.
I will be diving with Scuba 1 of Tenerife-scuba, will post a report on my return.
Bren, well done on arranging the Wales trip, unfortunatly I cant come because the date clashes with Pete`s Sound of Mull trip, maybe Wales later in the year?
Anyone know what factor sun block for west Scotland in early March?
Finally weather improved last weekend and we actually managed to dive from Brighton on Sunday, lovely clear calm day, vis a majestic 1 mtr, water temp a tropical 10deg.
Dived the wreck of the Fortuna, when we last dived this wreck in September we had 8-10 mtr vis, this time it was more `atmospheric`

Hey Dude,

No worries mate: we will catch up this year. Wales will be on the menu again, so we'll count you in for that.

Bottom line is, I'll go diving with any one/group of you off this board (~whispers~ even the other Mods!) any where, as long as I can make the dates and the site is a good one! Actually, that's a lie, I'll even dive the Cape and Stoney at a moment's notice if the crowd and the crack is good.

I wanna dive the Hood - given the noble and illustrious nature of that ship's lineage and line. Put down as a Block Ship, she saw stirling service before her deliberate sinking and I wanna pay my respects. Viz or no viz.

Take care all and dive safe.

Now nobody is to laugh.!

Promise

Well hear goes.
I`m supposed to be in Tenerife now with wify.
Guess what?......
Missed the f.....ing plane thats what, now flying out Friday am.
Now afraid to go to bed in case I oversleep and miss the plane again.
Cost me £110 to re-arrange flights and break now only four days, two days diving (with suba1) two days in sun with wify.
Me thinks I need more than that to explain why I need new wings (OMS??) so that my daughter can have my zeagle wings and that I need a new dry-suite(Dui??) because, my polar bear dry suit has shrunk, and that I need twin 10`s for my daughter for our scapa trip later this year.(will post about this later)and ...and...and.... the list is endless.

Spent last two days painting my games room(sounds poncy doesn`t it) at the bottom of my garden and playing table football, still haven`t bought the pool table yet,

And Wed was my birthday, best prezzie neon Budweiser sign for games room, awsome.

Just received a midweek diving list for individuals from Steve of www.channeldiving.com October 20th Moldovia 50m, my aim, this year, is to get up to speed for this dive.
So if anyone `dan sarf` fancies diving from Brighton midweek?
? I can do almost any day.
I should post this in the planned trips I suppose.
I will when I return from Tenerife.

Well got to go to bed now, got to get up in three hours or will miss plane again.

Hey Mike,

21'C is what I was diving in in South Africa!! In a Semi!! If it's 'only' 21 out there, then hey, he'll just have to cope with it and remember it's not 6'C here in the wet!!

Dive safe and have fun guys,

The Las Calletas area was not that badly affected but further down the south it was a right mess....I am still fixing my boat and there were 8 others sunk in the bay where I had mine. 3 RIB`s and 5 fishing boats. We had windspeeds of up to 170 km/h and the worst rain and thnderstorms in years. Motorways floodet and land slides.
But the vis is allmost back to normal now apart from a few spots close inshore in the south.

Regards
Michael
