Hi folks

Just back from Tenerife with Padi Advanced open Water cert clutched tightly in hand ( went out on excuse of picking up logbook left on plane on earlier trip!!)

Michael and Rebecca, (Scuba1 and Moray) at South Coast Divers reckon they could lay on a 10 dive package in Sep/Oct over 3/4 days, all equipment/boat hire/air included for 220 Euros (£150 approx), which would still leave at 3 days spare on a 7 day jolly for the other diversions available.

Accomodation/flights would be extra, obviously, but their local knowledge could help here.

I said I would sound YD members out on the boards to see if there was sufficient interest - over to you folks!!

The water is warm (around 26oC min at that time of year) and viz and marine life are great.

Wrecks, caves etc..etc..

Cheers

Sounds good to me John, i was thinking about doing my Advanced around Sept/Oct time anyway up at St Abbs but Tenerife is a much better proposition.  You can count me in provisionally mate.

<font color='#0000FF'>If the dates are fine my mrs and I will attempt to go but would fly directly either from Portugal or Spain. October would probaly be a better month for me as it would post vintage (grape harvest).

Dived out there in Sept last year with Island Divers and going back at the end of this month. It is run by a couple of really nice brits, been there awhile. As an instructor that has worked overseas and for some who put profit first, I would work for these people at the drop of a hat.

They have a nice rib & take 12 divers max, doing 2 dives a day.

Fish & Chips will post a trip report on our return.
