Word of warning!!
dont travel without Insurance.
Im a Paramedic that goes around the world picking up sick and injured whilst on holiday.
The average bill for the Insurance company is between £10,000 and £20,000.

Being sad I had a look at the cover and the small print the prices seem excellent although for Cover at level 2 (Dive leader 50m) they make the following changes

Hazardous Cover - Grade 2
Section A - Medical Excess Increased to £320
Section C - Personal Accident Sum insured reduced by 50%
Section E - Personal Liability Cover is Excluded

The lack of Personal Liability Cover worries me, what happens if god forbid something happens and you surface without your buddy and someone tries to prove that you where labile. You would not have a leg to stand on and if they found you labile a house to live in.

I know that as a BSAC member you are covered for 3rd party liability except in the one part of the world they like lawyers - USA and Canada

With insurance you never know how good the cover is till you need to use it and by then it is too late.
