At the moment I am trying to get trim sorted with my twinset.

As I use an uncompressed neoprene drysuit, I am having to use a lot of weight. 6kg on a weightbelt, this is about the same position as P or V weight, and is quite close to the centre of balance. I have also had to double up on ankleweights. This is the weight I require to maintain bouyancy control at 3m with 50bar in the cylinders.

So I am looking at getting Jetfins or Turtles. I wear size 9 shoes and have 8mm neoprene boots on the suit. What size fins should I be looking for, and does anyone have any idea what they weigh?

Hi Adrian,

I recently got myself a pair of Jetfins from Ndiver for £40 mate, no more ankle weights!!
(just need to get some SS springs on the buggers!)

Sorry not sure what weight they are.

Forgot to mention XXL size for size 9 trotters.
