Trying to fit an O2 analyser to my Azimuth SCR - Help?

5393 Views 26 Replies 7 Participants Last post by  Terry Allen
I am trying to fit an O2 analyser into my Azi and bought a Submatix oxy scan 100 from Abyss uk on the understanding that the fitting would be suitable for it. However it came with a Drager P connection and so far Ive not been able to find a suitable plug and socket for it. Ive tried with Abyss but they are not answering me. Yes I could send the unit back and ask for a return on my money but then I have to start again. Can any body please point me in the right direction for a supplier.

....no probs....

Hi Matt,

Will see what comes up in May... I am getting so busy with courses etc etc that I have to see what I can fit in.... if you get blown out (likely!) then you know where I will be!

I understand that everyone we take on a try dive is not neccessarily gonna buy a unit, however, I am always thankful of POSITIVE feedback on the unit or any of the products we supply...

So.. that in mind, happy to take you on a dive.... just leave your credit card details and we can take a tenner a week until you have paid for the unit... how does that sound! :D

Do I get the unit whilst you are taking the tenner :) if the answers yes we could have a deal! Anyone else up for this sort of deal?

OK when (rather than if) I get blown out I'll give you a call and see what the score is.

A BigThank You

To Andy and Mark
Thanks to both of you for you advise and help. As soon as I get the thing together with the gasgets from Andy I will repost and tell how I got on with it.
Its very difficult in this part of the world to get infomation and assistance and as its my first time with a rebreather I do need to be fairly sure that Ive got every thing about correct. Thus the reason Ive been more than a little pedantic, after all Ive been waiting since I got the thing in October of last year to try it and as the water temperature here will soon approach blood heat( even pass it) I need to get used to it before I am forced to return to open circuit.
Thanks again
Terry
The sooner the better Terry, it will be great to get a couple of dives on the “MO” with it.

Hi John et al,

Can't do the 16th 17th... but can do Sunday 10th April.... how does that sound????

Can meet at Stoney, run through the unit in the car park and go for a splash.. I have 5 units so could do 2 people at a time comfortably.... more if I can get one of the other Submatix Instructors to tag along...

Let me know what you think....

Andy
...t'will be unofficial.....

Hi,

Will run it 'unofficially' so a beer will suffice...!

Happy to have a play on your unit too .....

so.. will put it in the book.... 10th April it is....

Cheers,

andy

I think that I will settle for a fair few dives at OCR and NCR before going all the way to MO.
OK so I have wings, cannot fly and lay eggs.
