Underwater Conditions - West Hoyle Bank - Liverpool Bay and Dee Estuary

Hey Guys,

In the final phases of dissertation writing, I'm working on an analysis of diving two slave shipwrecks located in Liverpool Bay around the West Hoyle Bank area. One of the things I'm looking at is underwater conditions and the effects they have on wreck preservation and diving conditions.

Anyone who's dived the Liverpool Bay area, particularly if you've dived around the seal colony on West Hoyle Bank, able to shed any light on standard underwater conditions in the area? I'm guessing the viz is shite most of the year as its a huge sandbank but you never know I may be completely wrong.

Any information on the area around the Dee Estuary and Liverpool Bay would be very very welcome and earn you some green :D

Cheers,

Mike
