Only 4 days to go to to diving off the coast of Venezuela. I would like to stay here in the cold and wet but I,m not.Has any one dived there.

Los Frailes is not far from Margarita and this is where I did my first ever dive and took my PADI OW! I was on holliday on Isla de Margarita and dived with Margarita Divers. I remember it vividly as it was one of my first experiences and loved it!

If memory serves, Venezuela has the Orinocco Flow (and all the uber-rich nutrients that run with it) coursing out into the sea - the same flow that creates the superb and varied diving conditions that we did in Tobago (just off the coast of Venezuela). It should be spectatular, and I'd very much like to read your report when you get back also.
