You'll probably be the same when you get to that age.[b said:Quote[/b] (Mary @ Oct. 22 2003,16:13)]

Actually I do, I just didn't notice till it was "up" and can't figure out how to change it.[b said:Quote[/b] (John Gulliver @ Oct. 22 2003,13:59)]Who doesn't know the difference between "there" and "their"?
Yep, I'm retired. I'm not bored though, just cantankerous[b said:Quote[/b] (Rupert Bear @ Oct. 23 2003,14:15)]Actually I do, I just didn't notice till it was "up" and can't figure out how to change it.[b said:Quote[/b] (John Gulliver @ Oct. 22 2003,13:59)]Who doesn't know the difference between "there" and "their"?
You are obviously even more bored at work than I am or are you retired?![]()
Glad you pointed that out, Lou. NOBODY ever seems to get they're right.[b said:Quote[/b] (Lou @ Oct. 23 2003,14:18)]Anyway, there's not just their and there, we can add they're to the confusion too!
I don't know but I'm betting it's the same people who don't know the difference between "your" and "you're", a personal bete noire of mine[b said:Quote[/b] (John Gulliver @ Oct. 22 2003,13:59)]Who doesn't know the difference between "there" and "their"?![]()
Socialism is still reasonably strong here and getting more so. I think it's a backlash to the lack of difference between Tory and Labour, Liberal(Wishy-Washy)Democrats and S.N(o policies except free Scotland).P. There really is no-one left to vote for.[b said:Quote[/b] (Steve W @ Oct. 24 2003,10:46)]Whatever happened to the crazy idea of British socialism ? Oh, yeah, we lost it when we became the unofficial 51st State, well y'know, like whatever...![]()
The club still has my e-mail address and nobody has asked, this doesn't surprise me really going by the stories that you have told me as I suspect several people would get really embarrassed by my challenging them. Alastair hasn't been asked either AFAIK.[b said:Quote[/b] (peter k @ Oct. 24 2003,11:38)]PS-Mr Bear, Are you going?
