<font color='#0000FF'>Ocean Odyssey, the dive group that Kim H belongs to, wants to do a warm up/kit config dive out of Dover on Sun.

Boat leaves at 07:00 and we are going up to the Loanda, ( 4 hours after HW, )

Yes please, put me down.

I am also hoping that Mork can come along as well which will mean the trip will be cursed

Should hear from him either tonight or 2mo, will let you know as soon as I do if he wants to come along or not.

!!!!

Andy, you may be a commie with more time underwater than I've spent well, anyway, but you know sweet FA about customer service in the recreational diving industry.

If someone asks you to change the tea-bags you tell them Feck Off.

Of someone asks you for low fat doughnuts you tell them Feck Off.

If someone even so much as speaks to you tell them Feck Off.

There, Skippers around the coast can sleep easier tonight.

Laters,
   Janos

PS - I would but I'm oop North this weekend.

Yes I was suposed to be doing the Duke on Sunday and was thinking of this as a back up dive in case we were blown out but with 25k winds I think even the Loanda will be blown out

I am booked to go out on Defiant but as i say I am expecting that to be blown out. Andyp has his mega expensive camera housing so wants to take pics but if the dive is 4 hours after high tide isnt that the dirty tide washing back from the Thames? I expect Viz will be measured in MM?

Have you been out there Andy any viz reports? I can get Andyp off his bed if we have a couple of M

<font color='#0000FF'>Mark,

No the 4 hours after HW is the cleaner of the 2 tides as you put it ,,, it has had 6 1/2 hours of bringing water up from Dungeness ,,,,,,,

The 2 hours before HW has the tide coming from the Thames .

Viz all over is in mm's ,,,,,,,,, 100 mm being the max i have seen so far this week, and thats an ANDY'S  100 mm .

Only good thing for Andy P's camera, is taking piccies of the SEACATS new livery colours ,,,,

Mark

HW+4 Hrs is our normal slack. Its the better one, generally a lot longer.

Its only really on Neaps we do the HW-2 slack, it is a much shorter one.

The vis difference between them is minimal.

I think the club at Broadstairs uses the HW-2 a lot more, but then they are next to the Estury.

<font color='#0000FF'>Also, Viz tends to be less on -2 hw on springs as the tidal flow is great, that it whips the Thames shit all over the place , bring it closer inshore,,,,,,,,, having said that, i have had cracking dives 1/2 mile inshore from the Loanda on -2HW Neaps and had 10 +mts viz .
