O2 cleen??

For those of you that dont know how its done, It where you put your regs in the dish washer and add an extra tab of deturgent.

It's far more fun to use a bowl of hot soapy water - ever tried to hold a hot piece of soap-covered smooth metal? Bits go everywhere!

PS I've tried mine with the Dishwasher, but she tells me to use my hose in the garden as usual.

I watched my cylinders being o2 cleaned - he soaked the pillar valves in vinegar and washed out the bottles themselves with strong fairy liquid    
  only a tenner a bottle too, nae bad.  Maybe im in the wrong business.

You can use oranges boiled up to do the same job, slightly acidic so removes bits you don't want in there.

<font color='#0000FF'>Could use carb tet (a.k.a carbon tetrachloride, tetrachloromethane or CCl4) as it is a fantastic degreaser and used to be used in drycleaning...

Only drawback is that it is "reasonably anticipated" to be a human carcinogen. Saves smoking 40 a day  


Also the minor drawback of potentially forming phosgene gas (WW1 chemical warfare).

Shame really
