I've got a laptop and a couple of desktops, so have never really bothered with a
snazzy phone that much, but my old Nokia's battery is looking a little tired and
thought its time for a change.

So bearing in mind that i'm one of these ludites that use a phone for actually
calling people to talk to, has anybody got any suggestions as to a phone that
is primarily that. I'd access the net and emails once in a blue moon, so dont
need it all singing and dancing, but again dont want to pay an arm and a leg
just to be able to access one email.

Thought i'd ask the YD massive as to any ideas as to make/model?

JCB phones are waterproof. I might buy one when my old Ericsson packs up but until then it does the job (and makes people laugh)

Big screen, small screen? Battery life? touch screen or buttons?
Dunno TBH, like I say i'm surrounded by computers, so dont really see the need
for yet another way to get online, so dont need this as a prime funcion.

If its touch screen larger would be better, if its buttons, a normal phone size,
but def not anything with a keyboard like a blackberry.

Just want pointing at a few models to get me started TBH.

Think i'm sold on this one Samsung Galaxy S3 , saw it in PC world the other day,
but didnt get the model number. Its got a really nice sized screen and a hefty
memory, with a decent 8mp camera. Will check it out at PC world again later.

The handheld were half the power, had to be or they fried your brain, this one was
twice that and with coverage nowhere near what it is today the Mitsubishi always
