Perhaps an odd question, but does anybody know what colour's what in European 3-core electrical cable? The reason I ask is that I'm making a 4 block extension leed for when I'm traveling in Europe.

Cheers

<font color='#0000FF'>I am from Malta, Europe.

Here normally we have:

Brown live wire connected to the fuse pin
Green/Yellow Earth wire connected to middle pin
Blue neutral wire connected to the remaining pin.

Hope this helps if any more info is needed mail me back.

Regards

Pierre

I made up one of these a few years back.
A Sony monitor I bought came with a euro style lead (with earth). I chopped the end off and screwed on a 4-way block.
Now when I go skiing, I can plug in my boot heaters, glove warmers, walkie-talkies and GPS batteries to charge overnight. It's not easy getting to sleep with all the red lights glowing though.
