Bonus ?? Hmmm... suppose I'll get one of those the day I get overtime pay, doesn't happen in this line of work, apparently it's a vocation and we're meant to be pleased we've got the opportunity to do this kind of work.

Guess who's New Year resolution it is to find a different career

Hmmm, so my £25 of vouchers isn't as stingy as I thought then?

I nearly put no, as I don't really think they are in the land of "bonus" payments, but it is a nice gesture....

I am in a similar line of work to Steve W, but don't actually get a salary - I'm a PhD student (get a reasonable grant instead) - so the answer is a big fat NO. I have to say I do wish I got overtime pay - I usually work 10+ hours a day and a minimum of 5 hours every weekend!

Don't ever let me hear anyone say students are lazy (unless you slag off undergrads, they are lazy buggers!!).

There's no F in bonus,
nope same as last year and virtually all of the others (all 20 of them) Nothing, mind you they did tell me the job I'm on is being canned in the New Year so I suppose thats a bonus of sorts.

This xmas I shall mainly be eating bread and cheese. Got to save for Narvic somehow

Not this year.  Can't help wondering if the time squandered on YD has been rumbled - its the first time in 5 years that I havn't got one !

Bonus bhar humbug. As an employer noone gives me a bonus in fact noone pays their bills this time of year either. Anyway signing court applictaion forms is so much more pleasurable than sending the barstools clients a christmas card.  At least as an employee you will get paid.

I don't get my bonus till April.
We submit our "how well we did" forms in early December. It takes them till April to figure out what to do next.

now of course i don't get a bonus unless you include bonus amounts of debt

<font color='#000080'>I got a bonus, mind you, has been a shitty year at work - we lost a guy in an accident and another vet got his arm broke by a bull (he was trying to chop its balls off at the time - no anaesthetic).

I got three figures (nearly a weeks wages for me!!), and i suspect a couple bottles of plonk will be on their way.
  nae bad for someone who earns 9p above the minimum wage to clean up cat shit.
