OK YDville, after the consummate success that you made of  the inaugural 'YD-Stock' at Stoney Cove, the folks at YD have spoken with one accord and requested, nay, demanded a second bite at the boots-fill!!! Far be it from me to disappoint, and working to Mr Davies's original and inspired blueprint.....

And so, with that in mind, please see this as the list on which to place your John Hancock!! Names please!!

So that levels of expectation are both clear and common, I would just like to remind all coming that these gigs cover two key purposes: to bring together the goodly masses of YD (faces-to-names/meet-n-greet) from thither and anon to dive together, and to capitalise on that gathering by having a bijou-boots-fill-bash.....a food-fest and sherry with yer YD mates!!!

Because we are only booking it now, unless there is an Act of God, it is unlikely that we will be able to secure one or more hardboats, although it doesn't stop us trying, as they will have been booked up well in advance. That said, we should be able to secure RIB-divng and we are guaranteed to do as much shore diving as we like!!!! Not to be sniffed at,  given the amount on offer!!

Anglesey is renowned for the sheer quantity and quality of its shore diving and has a very diver-friendly aspect to it. Viz is usually superb (10 to 15 metres on an average day) with shed-loads of sea-life, walk-in-off-the-beach diveable wrecks and great clean, white-sand beaches. Fills are easily acquired also, both 21% and mix.

The place is family-friendly too, for those bringing family or non-diving partners, and there's loads to do above the surface. Tourist maps, 'Places to Go/Things to Do' maps and What's-On events lists are readily available in the reception of every Hotel, campsite, B&B and caravan park. Oh, and for those of a Shandy-esque persuasion, or a more northerly Jockanese disposition, the island of Anglesey is complete doddle to find. I'll post some links for accommodation shortly and advise that you get in amongst it soonest to secure same.

Righty then, let's be 'aving ya!!

Sorry Bren I won't be able to make it as my Lottery numbers came up at the weekend and by next month I'll be kicking it back in the Caribbean beginning my life of idle luxury and  copious diving...

Oh sh*t it's monday morning already

Bren,
Please put myself and Alison down on the list.
Do we have an exact location on Anglesey? or will we all be turning up with tents and trying to find a convenient field?

I'll bring a bottle of whiskey with me, something 12 years old for real drinkers, and maybe a nice Isle of Tesco's for those who like to mix their whiskey with other muck.

As mi old mudder used to say: "Ah Jaze, yer a gud man yerself..."

Well-in mate: it'll be nice to see you and Alison again!

You're on the list mate! I'll be posting shortly a few links for accommodation, both Trearddur Bay (T-Bay) or the gaff which Kate R posted! Keep eyes-on!

Cheers,

Personally, I'm gonna try for T-Bay; all the decent pubs, eateries and beaches are in the immediate locale - plus a Spar for buying nosebag  and sherry, and a cash machine for those whom I will fleece at poker (draw or stud, take your pick!) during the evening sessions

Happy days!

Texas hold 'em! It's the only poker I know how to play.
