Highest Diving Qualification — Advanced Open Water; Drysuit

What’s your standard kit — Cressi lightweight (travel) BCD; Scubapro reg’s; Seac mask; Mares Avanti Quattro fins[2]; torch; Ti knife[2]; Scubapro DSMB & Apeks reel; whistle; marine beacon[2]; Scubapro Galileo 2 computer & tank sender[2]; Tusa compass (backup); Cressi watch[2]; GoPro on mask always recording; anti-sickness tablets when it’s very choppy
[2] = bought used

Where do you usually dive — no ‘usual’ yet

Number of dives — ~30

Deepest dive — 34m

Longest dive — 45mins

Favourite dive — so far, Cape Verde

Worst dive — Lanzarote, off Playa Blanca, underweighted, couldn’t get down, lost grip on line, current took me away, tired after trying to return to the buoy, spoiled the dive for a buddy who tried to rescue me back to the boat but the current was too strong for him, bobbed about until the boat spotted us. Learning: DO NOT LET GO OF THE LINE!

What dive/trip would you most like to do — Thailand

What ONE other question should I have included — ‘What got you into diving?’

What got you into diving — Chance opportunity on holiday. I was 60 and thought “Why not?. Do something new!”

Or couldn't the members profile section be expanded to allow for some of these questions, that way it could be kept up to date by each individual as they, do more dives, deeper dive, get more badges etc etc
